General Introduction

Magnet-Controlled Materials Research Group focuses on the research and development of high performance and new functional materials based on nanotechnology and structure control technology, synthesis and application technology of inorganic and organic composite materials, and application technology of strong magnetic field. We will play a leading role in providing eco-friendly material technologies for the upcoming 4th Industrial Revolution to cope with the problems of resource depletion and climate change.


Research Objective

Development of structure control process technology and device application technology for industrial materials

  • Crystal orientation using strong magnet field, processing technology, etc.
  • Synthesis of nanomaterials, in-situ assembly, surface modification technology, etc.
  • Synthesis of hybrid materials, processing and device application technology

Major Research Fields

Materials for energy industry such as thermoelectric materials and devices, electrode materials, heat transfer materials, etc.

Smart materials such as functional membranes, bioplastics, etc.
