DGIST-ETH Research Center
The research focus is on the Micro-Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) and Nano-Electromechanical robots, micro/nano manipulation, acoustic MEMS transducers, brain-machine interfaces, and microfluidics devices. The potential applications for those research areas are minimally invasive surgery, drug/cell transportation within the body, neural prostheses for artificial sensory systems, medical communication, and ultrasonic medical imaging.
The research objectives are organized as bellow:
- Creating interdisciplinary and globally collaborative research environment in microrobotics
- Developing micro-robotics source technology for medical engineering applications
